The English requirement for settlement rises one CEFR level. B2 is the level of an upper-intermediate speaker: IELTS for UKVI 5.5 in each component, or the equivalent on LanguageCert, PTE Academic UKVI, Skills for English UKVI or Trinity. Degrees from Indian universities taught in English count only with a UK ENIC statement of comparability and English proficiency; a transcript alone does not.
